How good is Vodafone’s network coverage in the interiors and rural areas of the state?

Vodafone has traditionally had one of the finest and most robust networks in Gujarat circle. We have now further strengthened and expanded our network coverage, by adding 950 new 3G and 2G sites between January and June 2014,  at an investment of Rs 400 crores. With this ramp up, Vodafone has further extended its leadership in Gujarat across relevant industry parameters – network coverage (over 10,000 active 3G and 2G sites covering 94 percent of the state’s population), subscriber base( 1.74 crores), retail footprint ( over 950 Vodafone Stores, Mini Stores and ASVMS) and revenue market share (RMS- 37.7 percent).

What is your new campaign ‘Ab Gujarat Jeetega’ about?

Vodafone has launched a first of its kind initiative, ‘Ab Gujarat Jeetega’ for its pre-paid customers in the Gujarat circle. The largest customer rewards programme from Vodafone in Gujarat till date, ‘Ab Gujarat Jeetega’ offers deals for all pre-paid customers.  Every Vodafone pre-paid customer can dial *121# or recharge in any of the modes (retail outlets, Vodafone Stores, Online or M-Pesa), to win Free Deals in the form of free additional voice minutes, internet or SMS. These benefits will be over and above the normal benefits that the subscriber gets on that recharge. To avail this customer has to press *599# post doing recharge and enjoy the free benefits.

What about post paid customers? Do you have any special deals for them?

Certainly. We value the fourteen lakh post paid customers who have displayed their preference for Vodafone and have a unique offering for them through our 121 customised plans. Vodafone post-paid customers can dial 121 to access a voice cum data plan that is uniquely structured to their individual usage patterns.
